The Agriturismo Il Girasole Assisi is situated at the foot of Assisi and of ‘imposing Basilica of St. Francis, with a spectacular view, in the countryside and in the nature of the beautiful hills of Umbria.

We are open all year, we have double rooms are spacious and well-appointed with all the comforts, all with private bathroom, bed linen and bath towels, hair dryer, soaps and soap.
Each room has a flat screen TV with satellite channels, refrigerator, heating, air conditioning (activated upon customer request), WiFi internet service in all rooms and in the outside area.
Each of them has the ability to accommodate extra beds, making it triple or quadruple depending on your needs.
Cleaning is done every day with great care and attention directly by Mrs. Ilvea, which, with the help of his entire family, with constant and generous commitment for many years, trying to meet all the needs of their guests and with passion and hospitality to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay in this oasis of peace one step away from Assisi.
The farm offers its guests a large manicured garden and equipped with slides and swings, a brand new playground “The Sunflower Baby Park” with various facilities and spring games for the entertainment of children. A new swimming pool with Jacuzzi and chrome-therapy, large solarium with tables, umbrellas and chairs for total relaxation overlooking Assisi.
Inside the hotel you can visit the “Fattoria Il Girasole” with many animals, for the happiness of the great but especially the children we have created a path where you can admire a beautiful pony named Perla, Gemma and the newly-born Stella, of goats named Bettina and Nerina with their young, beautiful chicken coop with rooster and hens, geese and ducks, a pig, small kittens, dogs trained to collect truffles, an aviary with colorful budgies and a large litter where present the historical tortoises.

The Farmhouse Il Girasole covers a total of more than 30 hectares of farmland and forest, cultivating wheat, barley, vines and above an olive grove allows us to produce an excellent extra virgin olive oil of designated origin (PDO)
Our own products are: olive oil, wine, honey, garlic and onions.
The farmhouse Il Girasole is located just outside the walls of the city and Assisi can be reached on foot, with a comfortable walk in the green, 10/15 min. Wanting to drive along the road SS 147 to Assisi, the center can be reached in 2 min.
We are strategically located to visit and discover all the other towns and picturesque villages of our beautiful Umbria.
